The Game Awards 2023 Nominations: Alan Wake 2, Baldur’s Gate 3 Lead the Pack With Eight Noms Each (Full List) By Todd Spangler Plus Icon Nominations for the 2023 Game Awards, recognizing the gaming biz’s best games and creators of the year, have been announced. Two of the year’s biggest sequels — survival-horror title Alan Wake 2 from Remedy Entertainment ( above left ) and role-playing game Baldur’s Gate 3 from Larian Studios ( above right ) — nabbed the most nods with eight each, including Game of the Year. The four other titles rounding out the nominations for Game of the Year are also entries in long-running franchises: Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 from Insomniac Games, Resident Evil 4 from Capcom, Super Mario Bros.
